Chairperson Role Summary
The Chairperson is responsible for guiding the Board and ensuring effective governance. The role involves strategic planning, leadership, and decision-making to drive the company's objectives.
* Preset over Board meetings in accordance with company policies.
* Collaborate with senior staff to plan meetings and develop agendas.
* Provide leadership and ensure a smooth Governing Body operation.
* Implement decisions promptly to support strategy execution.
* Work closely with standing committee chairs and other committees established by the Board.
* Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including CIB and national/regional service delivery partners.
* Supervise and evaluate the Regional Manager or delegate tasks as necessary.
* Foster a focus on Board goals and serve as a spokesperson for the organization when required.
