Business Relationship Manager, Business Banking – Capital Markets, South East
Location
Hybrid Working in Waterford or Kilkenny
What is the Role?
This role is being offered on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities

Own and manage a portfolio of medium sized SME customers across various sectors.
Manage all aspects of the customer relationship with strong focus on prudent credit management and generating mutually profitable relationships.
Develop the portfolio to support our customers and seek new business opportunities.
Be active and visible in the marketplace with regular customer and key stakeholder engagements.
Be a positive team player.

Qualifications

Must be QFA qualified.
Excellent relationship management experience.
Strong track record in handling significant credit requests, typically €2M – €15M.
Analytical, credit and negotiation skills.
Experience in business banking or a similar sector.

Technical Capabilities

Business & Customer Knowledge & Insight – Demonstrate ability to discover, develop and apply compelling customer insights to generate recommendations for customer‑centric solutions and/or product development.
Relationship Management – Cultivate and maintain business relationships, partnerships and alliances internally, externally and virtually with key stakeholders.
Credit & Risk Analysis – Understand and analyze factors impacting the risk of providing a particular product for an existing or potential customer in a timely and accurate manner.
Account Acquisition and Development – Proactively identify potential customers and build a healthy pipeline, convert pipeline focusing on tailored customer needs, nurture relationships and build value to develop and grow customer accounts.
