This role is vital for organizational growth and maintaining our core ethos: keeping the customer at the center of everything we do. The ideal candidate should be flexible, hardworking, honest, possess good people-management skills, and have IT experience.Key Accountabilities:Ensure timely dispatch of all routes across locations.Monitor driver schedules using technology, report hourly on routes and delivery times to control costs and meet customer expectations.Analyze driver performance, accompany drivers on routes, and coach them based on findings.Motivate and coach the delivery team, managing performance and absences appropriately.Minimize equipment breakdowns, report repairs, and coordinate with the maintenance department.Complete accident/injury reports promptly.Ensure proper loading and delivery techniques to reduce damages and shortages.Identify and deliver driver training needs.Maintain company vehicles properly, ensuring safety and brand image.Lead by example, applying policies fairly and consistently.Requirements:3-5 years of relevant management/supervisory experience in high-volume, technology-driven distribution.Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.Knowledge of Department of Transport regulations.Experience in investigations, disciplinary actions, and performance management.Ability to motivate and manage teams for excellent service delivery.Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills.Ability to work effectively in deadline-driven, customer-centric environments.Preferred Qualifications / Experience:Understanding customer needs and building effective relationships.Flexibility and adaptability to change.Excellent communication and listening skills.
