The Team The Ireland Investor AML Ongoing Monitoring team are responsible for the continuous monitoring of investors throughout their investment journey.
This is done primarily through overnight screening of all investors and related parties, transaction monitoring of the investment activity as well as carrying out periodic reviews to ensure all due diligence documentation remains accurate and up to date.
The role As a senior partner in the Ireland Investor AML Ongoing Monitoring team, the role will require candidates take ownership of and lead the completion of large-scale ongoing monitoring projects, at an EMEA wide level and across multiple jurisdictions.
The candidate will be responsible for the strategic roll out of such projects, ensuring its execution to the highest of AML standards.
In addition, the role requires partners to hold, build and maintain strong relationships with the Northern Trust Transfer Agency and Client Services Departments across EMEA, as well as other key stakeholders, to deliver a robust AML Ongoing Monitoring service to Northern Trust's client and investor base.
The successful candidate will demonstrate some of the following: Proven ability to lead and take responsibility for timely and accurate completion of AML Ongoing Monitoring projects such as the periodic review program for investors at an EMEA wide level across multiple jurisdictions.Organise the work of larger teams involved in the various workflows, set short and longer-term priorities, monitors all activities and ensures timely and accurate completion of the work.Extensive experience in reviewing procedural requirements, driving effective and efficient change through procedural and operational improvements.Comfort and experience in being the point of escalation for the resolution of complex problems and critical issues as referred to the Investor AML Ongoing Monitoring team, as well as those received from other internal and/or related external parties.Proven experience in building and delivering a quality assurance and governance program, with particular focus on multi jurisdictional frameworks.Experience in dealing with and managing teams from remote locations to deliver on large scale projects.A willingness and ability to serve as a subject matter expert and point of contact for AML ongoing monitoring across the EMEA region.Skills/Qualifications: 8-10 Years experience in the AML industry with exposure to ongoing monitoring practices.Extensive knowledge of day-to-day AML and Transfer Agency operations and the wider funds administration business.In-depth knowledge of the AML regulatory landscape across EMEA.Proven track record in strategically leading AML work across multiple jurisdictions.Strong organisational and communication skills with experience in managing large projects.Effective risk management and awareness of the AML and associated risks faced by the Northern Trust and its relevant stakeholders.Ability to research, understand and deliver solutions to issues, including more complex issues as agreed with senior management.A solutions oriented track record in dealing with large scale work loads and complex cases.Working with Us: We'd love to learn more about how your interests and experience could be a fit with one of the world's most admired and ethical companies.
