This is an ideal position for someone who is Newly Qualified or 1-3 years post qualified & keen to take their step up in their career Key responsibilities: Reporting into Finance Director, duties include: Ensuring the timely and accurate production of monthly management reports, including P&L, balance sheet, and supporting analysis.
Preparing and submitting VAT returns in accordance with HMRC deadlines, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Preparing and posting standard and ad hoc journals including accruals, prepayments, payroll, and other necessary adjustments.
Compiling and submitting Intra Stat declarations, ensuring regulatory compliance.
Performing monthly reconciliations for all bank accounts, ensuring any discrepancies are promptly identified and resolved.
Supporting the Finance Director and wider team with ad-hoc duties as required, including financial analysis, audit preparation, and process improvement initiatives.
