Role Overview
The Financial Controller will oversee the financial environment within the group, providing comprehensive services to all departments. Reporting directly to the Dealer Principal/General Manager, this key member of the management team will work alongside senior managers and departments to set strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the finance team, ensuring coordination and delivery of internal and external reporting requirements.
* Provide leadership on technical accounting matters to the accounting team.
* Prepare, analyze, and oversee the group's Financial Statements.
* Lead the annual audit process in conjunction with the assigned statutory auditor.
* Oversee taxation affairs, liaising closely with the group tax advisors.
* Ensure financial controls are effective and being appropriately applied throughout the group.
* Provide leadership and coaching to the accounting team.
* Assess business development opportunities and support contract negotiation.
* Manage and support teams to ensure staff receive continuing training and development.
Requirements
Applicants must possess a primary degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a closely related discipline, and hold a professional accounting qualification. A minimum of ten years' post-qualification experience in a comparable role is desirable.

* Strong commercial acumen with a demonstrable track record in commercial projects.
* Demonstrable experience working in a complex environment with a record of success.
* Board-level experience with strong presentation skills.
