Operational Nursing Specialist

The role of the Operational Nursing Specialist is pivotal in ensuring seamless surgical procedures within our theatre suite. This position requires an individual to provide evidence-based care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

* Collaborate with consultant surgeons in complex surgical operations
* Deliver holistic support services to patients and their families, fostering a culture of care and compassion
* Maintain rigorous standards of nursing care in pre-operative and post-operative planning, aligning with industry best practices
* Adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct as outlined by the regulatory body for nurses
* Exercise autonomy within their scope of practice, continuously developing and upholding professional excellence
* Coordinate patient care and manage ward areas effectively, promoting a safe and efficient environment
* Registration in the General Division of the Register of Nurses maintained by the relevant governing body
* Completion of Basic Life Support Training
* Minimum 2 years of experience in Theatre Nursing
