A leading and well-regarded civil engineering contractor is currently looking to hire an experienced Health and Safety Manager for a major residential development located in West Dublin. This is a long-term role on a project that is just kicking off, with additional works scheduled in the area. Key Responsibilities: Ensure full adherence to Health & Safety legislation, as well as company policies and procedures. Carry out regular site audits, inspections, and risk assessments to maintain safe working conditions. Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and relevant training for site personnel and subcontractors. Investigate any on-site incidents or accidents, carry out root cause analysis, and implement corrective measures. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years experience in a Health & Safety role within the civil engineering or construction sector in Ireland. Recognised Health & Safety qualifications (e.g., Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, NEBOSH, or similar). In-depth knowledge of Irish construction safety laws and best practices. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Demonstrated capability to work independently and encourage compliance across teams. Possession of a full, clean driving licence.
