We have an exciting new role in our team for a Field Service Engineer. The successful candidate will perform scheduled preventative maintenance, calibration and repair activities on customer sites. We have open vacancies that will be based in Cork and are seeking candidates from graduates to FSE's.
Scope of role:
* Work will be on a range of laboratory / process equipment supplied to Lennox Group customers (examples; TOC analysers, osmometers, autoclaves, centrifuges, temperature mapping on ovens, fridges, freezer, water-baths, pH/Conductivity meters, laboratory glasswasher, UV/Vis, Polarimeters, Refractometers, Density Meters etc.)
* Committing to develop personal & technical skills at training programs provided (internal & external) ensuring the highest technical standards are adhered to across department / the full product range and all customers receive a professional service.
* Completing and developing all paperwork related to the equipment repairs, calibrations, IQ/OQ and to ensure all the require systems are updated.
* Support and liaise with our customers and internal departments (sales, supply chain, purchasing, warehouse etc) to ensure a full-service offering is always provided.
* Provide additional support to the workshop engineers as and when workloads demand.
* Providing technical support for in-bound customer calls ensuring highest technical standards are adhered to at all times.
* Ensure that the most up to date manuals, service bulletins and procedures are read, understood and complied with and that obsolete versions are discarded.
* Ensure work is performed in compliance with the requirements of the CRM package, quality management system and Environmental Health & Safety requirements
* Develop a clear understanding of and commitment to the vision and mission of Lennox Group.
* Work with the Field Service Manager / Head of Technical Services to achieve the process objectives in line with the overall business strategy.
To be successful in this role, you will have strong electronic and technical skills. The requirements are as follows:
* Applicants ideally will have an Electrical /Electronic /Mechatronics Certificate, Diploma or Degree or City & Guilds Instrumentation / Calibration qualification (time served, graduate or equivalent) with a minimum 1-year relevant work / skill related experience.
* A strong knowledge of working on instrumentation / calibration methods & procedures will be an advantage, however full training, both inhouse and virtual will be given.
* Work well independently and as part of a team and be able to communicate well within the team.
* Highly organised and have a wiliness to learn new technologies and take on new products.
* Good troubleshooting skills with conscientious work attitude.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* A good level of IT skills will be advantage.
* Full clean driving licence.
* Flexibility to travel as & when required.
