Senior Project Manager/PMO
We are working with a global financial institution to recruit a Senior Project Manager/PMO. This role requires strong project management skills and experience in driving successful project outcomes within a Markets division.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare concise Markets activity/progress reports tailored to various audiences.
* Provide critical review and challenge on activity/progress reports from other functions.
* Utilize best practice PMO methodologies to maintain plans, manage risks and issues, and meet stakeholder needs.
* Drive project end results as a representative of Markets.
* Proactively track project progress against goals.
* Promote partner involvement through effective communication of project status across diverse stakeholders.
Essential Criteria:
* At least 5-7 years' experience in a Senior Project Management or leadership role.
* Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to deeply investigate content and oversee the portfolio.
* Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating collaboration across large organizations and a proactive approach to communication.
* Ability to drive progress issue-by-issue and ensure deadlines are met.
* Experience managing inter-department dependencies (e.g., Compliance, Technology, Internal Audit).
* Demonstrated ability to think critically, strategically, and analytically, and to creatively problem solve.
* Proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point, and MS Project.
This role will be a hybrid role with 3 days in the office in Belfast. Although the role is initially for a 7-month period there is a high possibility of extension.
