The 4* Sandymount Hotel, Dublin's largest independent family-run hotel, is currently recruiting for a Food & Beverage Assistant. You will be joining a team of staff dedicated to providing the highest standards of professional service and genuine care.
Overview
We are looking for a committed, service-driven individual, customer focused and reliable to join our team in the restaurant and bar as an Assistant with experience in the Food & Beverage industry.
Responsibilities
* Greet guests and seat them with courtesy and warmth.
* Check in with guests frequently to ensure satisfaction with food, drinks and service.
* Provide menus, take food and beverage orders, and deliver orders from the kitchen to tables.
* Assist in the preparation of beverages, both hot and cold.
* Ensure cash handling procedures are thorough and secure.
* Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness of the restaurant.
Skills & Specifications
* Proven hospitality and restaurant experience.
* Good command of English, written and verbal communication skills.
* Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
* Enthusiasm, positive approach and ability to work well under pressure.
* Fully flexible, available mornings, evenings and weekends.
