Senior Operations Manager
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead the launch of our brand-new trattoria in Dublin.
About the Role:
1. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire their team members.
2. They will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the venue on a daily basis, creating a warm environment with a smiling team attentive to customers.
3. The successful candidate will act as a communication link between different departments, between the front-of-house team and the kitchen, ensuring smooth flow of information across the board.
4. Key Responsibilities include proposing ideas to improve the customer experience, maintaining a continuous improvement mindset, and ensuring the venue maintains a high rating on social media.
5. Other responsibilities include managing privatizations with professionalism and precision, ensuring 100% positive resolution of customer complaints and resolving any issues during service.
6. The role requires strong performance analysis skills, managing the consolidated P&L, ensuring average spend per customer, and alerting clear actions if the budget is not respected.
7. Optimized scheduling management is also key, adjusting staffing according to activity while ensuring proper management of people costs.
8. A strong focus on human resources is required, being exemplary in managing both the front-of-house and kitchen teams, maintaining a motivated team with minimal turnover, supervising, motivating, and helping the team succeed.
9. Energizing the team and creating a positive, active atmosphere is essential, ensuring the transmission of Big Mamma's values, in coordination with headquarters, creating and leading a training program for the team.
10. Active participation during services is encouraged by leading by example and providing feedback on processes, communication with the team, and with customers.
11. The role also involves participating in recruitment, anticipating staffing needs with the recruitment team at headquarters, welcoming new staff, and optimizing the team structure.
12. Finally, ensuring HR follow-up by leading weekly management meetings with direct reports (managers and chefs) is crucial.
