Role Overview
Permanent Senior Specialist, QC Quality Systems (Lead Investigator) reporting to the QC Quality Systems Team Lead. You will support the Quality Control team with investigations and change controls in a biologics manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
 * Lead and manage QC investigations assigned
 * Facilitate root‑cause analysis and problem‑solving sessions
 * Generate investigation reports and CAPAs, effectiveness reviews, and supplemental tasks
 * Present investigations at IRB to senior management
 * Lead and coordinate QC change controls from initiation to closure
 * Ensure timely completion of all quality‑system activities
 * Collate metrics/KPIs and generate dashboard read‑outs
 * Communicate with local and global stakeholders
 * Lead huddles, meetings, conference calls and provide read‑outs
 * Participate in OpEx strategy and process improvement initiatives
 * Attend internal and external audits
 * Support additional QC analytical services activities as required
Qualifications & Skills
 * Proficiency in communication and collaboration across all levels
 * Team player with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs
 * Strong problem‑solving, project management and time‑management skills
 * Excellent technical writing
 * Prior investigation experience is an asset
 * Ability to research and quickly understand new assays and tasks
 * Minimum B.Sc. in Biochemistry or related discipline
 * At least 3 years in a GMP laboratory, preferably a biologics setting
 * Minimum 1 year experience with quality systems (investigations/change controls) in a FDA/EMA regulated environment
 * Knowledge of biologics QC testing (separations, bioanalytical, microbiology, raw materials) desirable
