Structural Analysis Specialist
As a Structural Analysis Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing and designing structural components using advanced software tools. Your primary goal is to ensure the stability, durability, and safety of structures under various loads and environmental conditions.
This role involves generating pre-processing data for structural analysis, performing calculations using EXCEL software, and utilizing ANSYS design software to analyze structural members, including verification of fatigue, crippling, and buckling strength.
You will also appraise structural details such as bolted joints, pinned joints, and compile final documentation with accurate sketches drawn using 2-D CAD software Co-Create ME10. Furthermore, you will liaise with other departments on structural details to optimize product design.
The ideal candidate will possess a third-level qualification in Structural Engineering and high proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with ANSYS or similar software is beneficial but not compulsory.
Key Responsibilities:
* Generate pre-processing data for structural analysis using EXCEL software.
* Perform structural analysis of crane components using ANSYS design software and EXCEL software.
* Appraise structural members, including verification of fatigue, crippling, and buckling strength.
* Analyze structural details such as bolted joints, pinned joints, etc.
* Compile final documentation.
* Drawing sketches to support documentation using 2-D CAD software Co-Create ME10.
* Liaise with other departments on structural details and optimize product design.
Requirements:
* Third-level qualification in Structural Engineering.
