Mechanical Fitter A major player in the supply of Automation, Material Handling, and Industrial Washing Machines and solutions are now seeking Mechanical Fitter in Tipperary COMPANY: Our client has been in business for nearly 20 years, and supply, install and service a range of packaging, materials handling, and industrial washing equipment to the Irish marketplace. With our client continuing to grow and prosper they are perfectly positioned to continue to meet the demands of its growing customer base. Working alongside some global multinationals much of our client's business has been earned through years of continuous business. It's through these relationships that our client is in the position to take on a Mechanical Fitter to join their successful team. ROLE: The successful candidate will be split between being based in the workshop in Tipperary (50%) with nationwide travel required (50%) and will be responsible for the following: Mechanical assembly of packaging machines in the workshop (50%) Travelling to client sites carrying out installations, PPM and reactive maintenance on company machinery (50%) PERSON: We are looking to speak to applicants from the following backgrounds: Must be fully Mechanically trade qualified (MAMF, Mechanical Fitting, Maintenance Fitting) Fabrication or Welding experience (Tig, Mig, Stig) is extremely advantageous. Hydraulics and Pneumatics experience is essential with machine assembly exp very beneficial. Manufacturing or Field Service experience is desirable. Basic electrical experience is advantageous. A full, clean Driving License is essential.
