Job Summary
The role of a Project Engineer involves coordinating and delivering capital works across various plants in Dublin and other locations. This includes plant upgrades, retrofit works, and capital replacement.
This position requires the ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams to develop knowledge and skills.

Key Responsibilities
* Coordinating design information and site works performed by in-house and third-party contractors
* Working with civil, mechanical, process, and electrical engineers/contractors
* Site supervision & management of in-house and external contractors
* Coordinate responses to client requests for technical information
* Production of documentation, including reports, drawings, calculations, specifications, tender documentation, project delivery plans, H&S plans
* Production of project budgets and programs
* Provide input to bids and project manage appropriate projects

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Qualified with an Engineering degree
* Fluent in English
* 3 years experience in a similar role or similar environment
* Experience of design at all levels from feasibility to a "for construction" level
* Considerable technical knowledge of all aspects of design as it impacts technical, budgetary, and programming issues
* Practical experience in coordinating site activities
* Practical Health & Safety experience in both site activities and design assessment
* Good communication and presentation skills
* Ability to work on own initiative and effectively manage & coordinate site activities
* The ability to command respect and to create a sense of community amongst the members of the project teams
* Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling projects
* Sufficient seniority and credibility to advise project teams on their projects
* The ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems
