Maintenance Electrician Position
This role is responsible for performing all electrical maintenance of process, utility, and facility equipment to support manufacturing operations and maximise asset performance.
* Carry out all work safely, cost effectively and to the highest standards, while maintaining good relations with our suppliers, contractors, customers and fellow employees.
* Execute routine and non-routine electrical tasks delegated according to appropriate procedures and standards.
* Ensure Maintenance Manager is aware of any problems on site as soon as possible.
* Pass all relevant information to the next maintenance shift.
* Operating utilities and equipment safely and efficiently, whilst maximising uptime._Collecting and analysing equipment data to report on equipment performance._Assisting with rolling shutdown preparation and execution.
* Troubleshoot, maintain, and support Utility and Manufacturing equipment to enable the manufacture of quality products.
* Responsible and accountable for the safe accomplishment of all activities within the maintenance team whilst following all statutory, environmental, regulatory (cGMP), corporate, site and team practices.
* Reporting any EHS incidents and/or near misses.
* Ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained to a high standard.
* Supporting a culture of Continuous Improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Qualified electrician with a recognised apprenticeship.
* Minimum 5 years post-apprenticeship experience within a similar role.
* Experience with mechanical issues and a good level of mechanical cross-skilling.
* Ability to work on own initiative.
