We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be a recently qualified accountant with experience in managing the Accounts Payable and Receivable functions.
About the Role
This is a broad and hands-on role ideal for a recently qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA) looking to grow their career in a thriving business environment. You will be responsible for managing both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, supporting month-end close, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in financial reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day AP and AR, ensuring timely payments and collections.
* Monitor cash flow and liaise with suppliers and customers.
* Prepare reconciliations, assist with month-end procedures, and support journal postings.
* Maintain accurate ledgers and ensure compliance with internal controls.
* Assist in preparing management accounts and financial reports.
Requirements
To succeed in this role you will need:
* Recently qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent).
* Strong knowledge of both AP and AR processes.
* Strong communication abilities for vendor, customer, and internal team liaison.
* A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
