Job Title: Logistics Operations Manager We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to join our team.
As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day movement of fresh seafood products.
The successful candidate will plan and coordinate daily transport schedules, routes and driver allocations to meet operational demands.
You will oversee fleet operations, including maintenance planning and issue reporting to ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and well-maintained.
Main Responsibilities: To collect fresh seafood from key ports and suppliers along the East Coast while adhering to legislative requirements.
To oversee day-to-day fleet compliance, ensuring trucks are serviced taxed insured maintained at high standards always Proactively manage vehicle breakdowns with timely reporting proactive prevention Maintenance regular inspections required Uphold delivery procedures uphold company policies Maintain premises presentation as per guidelines Fully qualified Transport Managers have 3+ years experience managing fleets Compliance teams or time sensitive transportation logistics environments preferred Fast-paced background in food distribution beneficial Full valid license clean must exist holding CPC & moffat operation desired Strong working knowledge tachograph Working Time Directive etc Proficient Microsoft Outlook Excel Word adapt internal systems Team leadership communication decision-making skills hands-on attitude Plan workloads effectively strong English fluency written spoken
