Position: Stock Controller

Glenhaven has four fully integrated continuous coating lines with the capabilities to produce both bagged and carton products supplying all the major retailers, food service operators and distributors both in IOI and the UK.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Stock Controller to join the team. The Stock Controller is responsible for maintaining accurate and reliable stock information across all company warehouses and ensuring integrity between physical and system stock values. This role will play a key part in supporting both Finance and Production functions by reconciling stock data, coordinating stock takes, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure that stock values recorded on the ERP system are accurate and up to date for each warehouse.
* Monitor transactions affecting stock (e.g., receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments) to verify correctness.
* Support Finance in month-end and year-end stock reporting and valuation.
* Regularly reconcile ERP stock balances with figures provided by third-party warehouses or other external service providers.
* Investigate and resolve discrepancies between internal and external records promptly.
* Maintain clear and auditable reconciliation documentation.
* Identify, analyse, and report any variances discovered during reconciliations or stock take exercises.
* Provide detailed variance explanations and liaise with relevant departments to resolve underlying issues.
* Plan, organize, and coordinate physical stock counts at internal and external locations.
Attributes, Qualifications & Experience:
* A full, clean, valid driving license.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a stock control, inventory accounting, or similar role.
* Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle or equivalent).
* Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
* Knowledge of inventory management principles and financial reconciliation practices.
* Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
