The role
HR ADMINISTRATOR
I’m currently partnering with a large and highly regarded organisation to appoint a HR Administrator into their busy and collaborative HR team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Administrator or HR Operations professional looking to join a fast-paced, people-focused environment where they will gain broad exposure across HR operations, employee lifecycle management, compliance, onboarding, learning & development support and HR systems.
The organisation is continuing to grow and evolve, making this an exciting time to join a highly supportive HR function that plays a key role across the wider business.
This role would particularly suit someone who enjoys operational HR, thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in organisation, accuracy and delivering an excellent employee experience.
The Opportunity
You’ll work closely with an experienced HR team supporting a large and diverse workforce across a broad range of HR operational activities.
The role offers strong exposure across:

HR operations and administration
Recruitment and onboarding coordination
HR systems and employee data management
Employee lifecycle support
Learning & development coordination
Compliance and regulatory administration
HR reporting and process improvement

This is a varied role with genuine exposure across all areas of HR operations within a highly regulated and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities

Support the day-to-day operations of the HR function
Maintain accurate employee records, HR databases and personnel files ensuring confidentiality at all times
Manage the HR and Learning & Development mailboxes, responding to employee and manager queries
Coordinate onboarding activities and pre-employment checks including Garda Vetting, references and occupational health documentation
Support recruitment administration including interview scheduling, candidate communication and onboarding coordination
Carry out compliance and primary source verification checks
Monitor probation reviews, fixed-term contracts and employee compliance documentation
Support HR systems administration including updating HR databases and recruitment systems
Assist with pension administration, Taxsaver processes and employee benefits coordination
Process employee documentation including contracts, letters and HR correspondence
Support learning & development coordination including training administration and maintaining training records
Assist with HR reporting, audits and compliance-related activities
Support employee engagement initiatives, HR projects and continuous improvement activities across the department

Experience Required

Minimum 2 years’ experience within a HR Administration, HR Operations or HR Coordinator role
HR qualification or relevant third-level qualification
Previous experience within healthcare, hospital, nursing home or another regulated environment would be highly advantageous
Strong experience working with HR systems and employee databases
Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across multiple stakeholder groups
Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
Professional, proactive and highly organised approach
