About the Role
This is a critical position within the Financial Reporting team, requiring a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our organization.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial reports to both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee month-end procedures, including journal entries and detailed financial analysis.
* Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Assist in compiling and finalising the monthly Management Accounts Pack.
* Support preparation and submission of comprehensive Group reporting packs.
* Address and resolve queries from Group headquarters, collaborating with Senior Accountants.
* Evaluate and document existing financial processes, suggesting improvements.
* Contribute to statutory accounts and regulatory filings, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
* Collaborate with the Finance team to facilitate an annual audit process.
* Engage in various ad-hoc projects as directed by Finance Management, providing financial insights and support.
About You
We are seeking a professionally qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong technical knowledge.
A minimum of 1 year's post-qualification experience, ideally gained in a large professional services firm or a multinational corporate environment, is required.
