Deputy Head of Equity Investment – Mediolanum International (Ireland)We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Equity Portfolio Manager to join the fundamental equity team as Deputy Head of Equity at Mediolanum International Funds.
Reporting directly to the Head of Equity, the successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing a global equity portfolio, identifying and researching companies to invest in, and constructing portfolios with the goal of delivering industry‑leading investment returns.
Responsibilities Build and manage Global Fundamental Active Equity Portfolios with significant AUM.
Contribute fundamental analysis that enriches our decision‑making and investment process.
Assist the Head of Equity with managing the team, coaching and mentoring both permanent members and graduates on their rotations.
Assist with developing the strategic view on the market.
Develop and utilise proprietary modelling to generate stock ideas based on company fundamentals.
Combine bottom‑up and top‑down investment ideas to build portfolios.
Ensure sharing of knowledge and techniques with other members of the investment team.
Skills and Competencies Strong analytical skills and dedication to fundamental company analysis and security selection.
Team player with the ability to collaborate with all members of the investment team and organisation.
Qualifications and Experience Minimum 15+ years' experience as an Equity Portfolio Manager with experience in Global Equity.
Experience in portfolio construction and risk management techniques.
Experience managing and mentoring other members of the team.
Ability to articulate investment ideas to both the investment team and other stakeholders.
Demonstrated solid track record of successful investments.
Experience working in a rigorous investment process.
Work within a team‑based approach to assist in researching ideas.
