We are seeking an accomplished Executive Culinary Leader to spearhead the success of our restaurant in Westport, Ireland. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading food preparation, assigning tasks to kitchen staff, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Directing food preparation and cooking high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant standards
* Creating menu items, developing recipes, and maintaining maximum gross profit (GP)
* Managing kitchen labor costs, monitoring overtime expenses, and reconciling invoices against delivery notes and purchases
* Maintaining food quality and excellent standards consistently, taking responsibility for health, safety, and hygiene practices in the kitchen
* Ensuring compliance with sanitary and food safety guidelines and regulations
Requirements
* 2 years' experience as a chef
* Valid work authorization in Ireland
* Able to commute to Westport, County Mayo
* Possesses passion for food, presentation, and thriving in a fast-paced environment
