Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and issue detailed packages to subcontractors and suppliers with meticulous attention to detail.
* Evaluate quotations, negotiate terms, and appoint subcontractors and suppliers with contracts or purchase orders.
* Submit accurate monthly valuations (applications for payment) to clients or main contractors.
* Measure and value completed works and variations, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
* Negotiate and agree payment certificates, identifying areas of agreement and dispute.
* Identify, price, and track changes to original project scopes, submitting variation claims and justifying costs.
* Maintain digital records to support claims and negotiations, streamlining processes.
* Compare actual quantities to bills of quantities and drawings, reconciling quantities and costs with subcontractors.
* Assess and certify subcontractor interim and final payments, managing variations and claims effectively.
Requirements:
* Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized institution.
* Ideal candidate will have 4-5 years relevant experience within the construction industry.
