The Role: An opportunity has arisen on-shift within the Plant Facilities group for a Technician in support of the following key Operational and Business goals of the Plant: Facilities Plant Maintenance & Operation; Key Project Implementation; Troubleshooting all areas of the plant as required.
Responsibilities
* Planned and Unplanned Maintenance activities
* Work to Operating Specifications
* Participate in Training and Development
* Work in full EHS compliance at all times
* Implement BKM’s for PMs and engineering practices
* Troubleshooting / Root cause Analysis
* Installations, procurement, upgrades, and modifications
* The performance of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and the resolution of issues with electro‑mechanical equipment across the plant
* Dismantling, adjustment, repair, and assembly of equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, sketches or drawings
* Use of test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts
* May perform equipment modifications as directed by facilities engineers
* Facilities plant includes DI water and effluent treatment plants, chilled water systems, MTHW boilers, air handing systems, acid scrubbers, gas and chemical delivery systems, central vacuum, compressed air, BMS, gas detection systems, etc.
* Maintain the supply of services to, and the operating conditions within the cleanrooms to strict specification with regards to temperature, humidity, and particle counts, including maintaining pressure profiles and responding to out of control and stop work notifications
Qualifications
* A minimum level 7 degree or a level 6 qualification in a relevant trade discipline with ideally 5+ years of experience
* A strong engineering knowledge
* A thorough understanding of equipment hardware – electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, vacuum, etc.
* Good decision-making skills and a logical approach to problem solving
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Quality/Safety mindset
* Mid-Senior level experience
* Full-time, on-shift availability
