Whitewater Group is headquartered in Bray, Co. Wicklow with a satellite office in Naas, Co. Kildare. We also operate from European bases in Spain, Sweden, Finland and UK, with plans for further offices to open in Italy, Denmark and Germany. The Group is experiencing significant growth due to its focus on off-site construction methods (OSM) of delivering turnkey projects, meaning on-site construction time is kept to a minimum.
Role Description
Due to continued expansion, we now seek an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while maintaining high standards of accuracy, productivity, and safety.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
* Organise and monitor the receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
* Ensure accurate stock control and inventory management, including regular cycle counts.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment in line with company policies and health & safety regulations.
* Operate warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts, pallet trucks) safely and ensure compliance with safe operating procedures.
* Liaise with transport providers, suppliers, and other internal departments to coordinate logistics.
* Handle and resolve any issues or discrepancies relating to deliveries, stock, or orders.
* Complete required documentation and ensure accurate records are maintained.
* Perform any other duties as may be deemed necessary or as may be required by the company.
Required Skills And Experience
* Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
* Strong understanding of warehouse operations, stock control, and health & safety requirements.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize workload.
* Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
* IT skills (e.g. stock management systems, MS Office, Word, Excel).
* The flexibility and willingness to learn.
* Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
Desirable
* Forklift license (counterbalance/reach truck).
* Full, clean B car license
* Manual Handling Certificate
* Knowledge of lean processes or continuous improvement methods.
* Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS). - Sage 50/CRM
