Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role:
Are you a strategic leader with a strong technical background in analog design and mixed signal verification who is passionate about technical excellence and team development? You will lead a team of talented engineers in designing and verifying the functionality, performance, and robustness of complex designs, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring world-class products to market.
* Manage and develop a high-performing team of analog and mixed signal design engineers
* Give technical directions and lead the development of competitive solutions in the area of automotive converters and precision analog
* Define and execute the strategic IP Roadmap in close cooperation with Technical Marketing, Concept Engineers, System Architects and SoC teams
* Oversee the design, implementation, and delivery of high-quality analog and mixed-signal IPs for automotive microcontrollers, adhering to stringent automotive and functional safety standards and meeting rigorous quality and reliability requirements
* Manage all phases of the design lifecycle, from architecture definition to verification on silicon
* Drive innovation in IP design by incorporating novel design, latest methodologies, tools, and technologies for efficiency and performance optimization
* Proactively identify and mitigate risks during the design process, ensuring adherence to milestones and budgets, while serving as the primary point of contact for IP-related requirements, risks, and status updates
* Provide clear and regular communication on progress, challenges, and resource needs
* Have technical and management responsibility for the team: Build, coach and organize your team members, including operational people management tasks
* Interact with Infineon organizations in other sites fostering global collaboration as well as supporting multisite projects
* Develop the relationship with local Universities to take advantage of available know-how and attract young talents to the team
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
* At least 10 years of professional experience in analog and mixed signal design with a strong focus on IP development in a new product development organization
* Understanding of analog and mixed-signal design flows and tools, including front-end design and verification tools (e.g., Cadence, Mentor)
* Strong understanding of IP-level verification environments and methodologies
* Experience working within an SoC architecture
* Proven leadership experience, managing teams of design engineers in a high-performance environment
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to easily transmit your ideas/proposals in both verbal and/or written forms and the capacity to influence others
* Fluent English skills (written and spoken)
