About the Role
We are seeking an experienced statistician to join our clinical development team. As a Senior Biostatistician, you will be responsible for leading the statistical work on one or more assigned clinical trials in collaboration with the clinical trial team.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires expertise in statistical analysis, study design, and data interpretation. You will work independently at the clinical trial level and may lead indication-level or project-level statistical activities for a drug development project under limited supervision.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing statistical support for regulatory submissions, including planning, analysis, and reporting of clinical safety and efficacy summaries
* Developing and implementing modern and innovative trial/experimental designs, statistical models, analysis, and data exploration methodologies at the study or project level
* Collaborating with other line functions to ensure functional alignment and line function awareness throughout the trials
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistics and its application to clinical trials. You should be able to explain statistical concepts in an easily understandable way to non-statisticians and provide adequate statistical justifications for actions/decisions/statements when required.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Master's degree (or equivalent) in Statistics or a related field, with 7+ years' relevant experience or a PhD in Statistics or a related field, with 3+ years' relevant experience
* Fluency in English with strong communication and presentation skills
* Demonstrable experience in all tasks of a statistician at trial and experiment level, with the ability to work independently
* Demonstrable knowledge and expertise in statistics and its application to clinical trials, including pharmacokinetics, exposure-response modeling, exploratory biomarker, diagnostic analyses, applied Bayesian statistics, or data exploration skills
