Job Overview
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high performance of medical device equipment. Your expertise in electrical and mechanical systems will be instrumental in ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical and electronic repair and diagnostic skills, as well as mechanical systems problem solving & repair skills.
Responsibilities include:
* Maintain Planned Preventative Maintenance through CMMS System
* Perform all maintenance of Production equipment
* Carry out root cause analysis of all machine breakdowns
* Provide knowledge to the Line Support team and work alongside to ensure maximum machine output
* Collaborate with Senior Maintenance Engineers and Value Streams to identify and implement projects for permanent solutions to recurring equipment downtime issues
* Support and engage in the 5 S + Safety program within Value Streams and Equipment Management as needed
Qualifications and Experience Required
* Minimum Level 6 Qualification
* Relevant working knowledge of FDA regulated industry and GMP requirements
* Experience working in a Cleanroom environment (ideal but not required)
* Strong electrical and electronic repair and diagnostic skills
* Strong mechanical systems problem solving & repair skills
* Experience in pneumatic fault finding and repair
* Demonstrate levels of theoretical knowledge with practical application
* Good teamworking & communication skills
* Good computer skills
