Job Summary
This role acts as a bridge between global policy and standard setting, ensuring the quality and reliability of data essential for informed decision making and regulatory compliance.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the site Data Operations & Engagement, Culture & Monitoring (ECM) team to ensure successful implementation of site data governance responsibilities and standards.
* Engage with stakeholders across the site to establish clear expectations and feedback loops.
* Create and deliver data governance training programs in consultation with Global Data Governance Senior Leadership Team.
* Ensure the team is appropriately resourced, supported, and equipped to execute their function effectively.
* Drive cultural and people change management efforts related to data governance.
Requirements:
* Technical knowledge within the biotech or pharmaceutical sector, coupled with strong relationship building and analytical thinking skills.
* Experience in implementing data governance policies and initiatives within business units in a regulated environment.
* Cultural/people change management experience and ability to drive cultural change related to data governance.
* Strong understanding of data governance principles, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 12+ years of professional experience in a pharmaceutical/FDA regulated work area.
