The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.Position OverviewLead a Process Engineering Team, supporting a Value Stream at DePuy Synthes Cork, utilizing advanced technologies to deliver supply in a cutting-edge manufacturing plant across EHS, quality, service and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesFoster a Quality First, Safety Always culture.Develop and execute tactical plans to deliver engineering goals aligned with Value Stream and site objectives.Collaborate across the Value Stream to position DePuy Synthes Cork as a Best-in-Class orthopaedics facility.Lead the engineering value stream team to deliver superior process reliability on current asset base.Key Technical Leader in the relevant Value Stream, prioritising and aligning activities to enable the Value Stream to deliver site goals.Support daily operations, root cause analysis, and project management.Lead initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs, ensuring timely reporting and problem resolution.Reduce scrap and consumable costs, and report on financial performance.Maintain equipment, support capacity projects, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.Define team responsibilities, conduct performance reviews, and support staff development.Support new product/process introductions.Qualifications & SkillsDegree in Engineering/Science with 8+ years in Maintenance/Operations/Engineering.Proven leadership, decision-making, and technical problem-solving skills.Preferred: People management experience. Experience in medical devices, manufacturing, Investment casting, CNC machining, regulated industries, and Lean/Six Sigma certifications.Excellent communication and coaching abilities.Strong process and maintenance engineering expertise.Highly organized with a focus on continuous improvement and employee development.Experience with value engineering, identification and delivery on opportunitiesDon't miss this exceptional opportunity to join a world-class company and make a lasting impact.
