My client a leading provider in print solutions is seeking to hire a Quality Manager to join their team in Dublin. The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing Compliance with the Quality Management System and other associated duties.Detailed responsibilitiesEnsure that an appropriate QMS is in place to achieve its obligations under ISO900 PS9000, ISO14001 and ISO27001 standards.Full responsibility for the Quality Control teamDevelop with the Assistant Manager to ensure its members are adequately trained and cross trained appropriately for the team to complete its function. This includes:Ensuring the appropriate and most efficient systems are in place for the QC team to carry out their duties in the most efficient mannerEnsuring all records are maintained, stored and disposed of in accordance with group policy.Monitor any areas of risks and track solutions through to completion and implementationRegular reporting on the performance of the team and any key initiatives to drive improvementPerform an annual review of the team and its effectiveness, documenting any concerns and including suggestions for improvementMonthly preparation of accurate and timely Management InformationPromote a culture of compliance and customer satisfaction at all times.Participate in key business projects which will change from time to timeManage the ongoing customer and ISO AuditsAct as the champion for Health & Safety management in conjunction with the Assistant Quality Manger across the company.Ensure that the company's safety statement is maintained and up to date.Prepare and chair the Health and Safety MeetingsPrepare an annual report for the Board which outlines the activities for the year ahead and reports on progress to date as well as outlining any concerns in this areaEnsure the plan of activities is achieved including training, risk assessments and committee meeting commitments.Administrative requirementsEnsure we have all the relevant procedural documentation for each client to effectively manage and develop our key clients including drafting workflows and agreeing SLAs where needed.Corrective and Preventative ActionKeeping an accurate log of all complaints and non-conformances raisedDriving closure of complaintsEscalating issues to the Account Managers and Senior Management Team where necessary keeping them always informed of key issues.Act as an integral part of implementing a quality culture process within digital, constantly striving for improvement and perfection.Ensure that the Approved Vendor list is always maintained and up to date.Perform other reasonable duties associated to the role assigned.Work to consistently meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.Update QMS records as required and as per your department's SOPs.Continue to work closely with internal audit team to ensure that all audits are completed and documented.Please get in touch :Joe KeaneRed Island RecruitmentMobile
