Role Overview
The QC Analyst I for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the QC testing of products and raw materials in accordance with relevant procedures, the review of results to provide a free to fill status, system release and generation of COAs in a timely manner, as appropriate. The successful candidate will work evening shift (Mon- Thurs 3pm-11pm, Fri 2pm-10pm).
This position is part of the Quality Department and will be an onsite position. This is a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities
* QC testing of products and raw materials in accordance with relevant procedures, review of results to provide a free to fill status, system release and generation of COAs in a timely manner.
* Batch History Record review and release, as required.
* Generation of data, including reporting and follow‑up on OOS results and creation of NC reports or deviations, if necessary.
* Rotated laboratory duties to include calibration, temperature chart monitoring, maintenance programmes, managing laboratory disposable stocks, housekeeping, autoclave waste management, etc.
* Calibrating and maintaining Quality Control instruments.
* Testing both final product and in‑process samples to ensure all specifications are met.
* Reporting to the QC Manager/Team Lead.
Qualifications
* Level 8 degree (Science or relevant technical degree is desirable).
* Previous experience in laboratory equipment (analytical balances, pH meters, pipettes).
* Experience with GMP, Quality & Safety standards.
* Previous experience in instrument calibration and maintenance.
