Lead Complex Projects as a Project Manager
The role of a Project Manager involves leading cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of projects. A strong ability to independently lead complex projects is essential, encompassing ownership of project timelines, tracking tasks, budget management, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
This position requires a proactive and adaptable individual with excellent project management experience and the ability to drive execution in fluid and evolving situations. The successful candidate will possess strong influencing skills, follow-through, and the ability to work on their own initiative.
* Lead medium-to-large cross-functional development teams.
* Provide input to functional managers on team and individual performance.
* Influence and satisfy key project stakeholders throughout each project phase.
* Manage technical challenges related to technology applications and new product development.
A Level 8 Honors Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent is required, with a Level 9 (Masters) degree or Project Management qualification being an advantage. Additionally, 5+ years of project management experience in Operations or New Product Development environments are necessary. Proven experience managing large-scale, complex projects across multiple functions Teams and/or multiple sites is also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning: Develop and implement project plans with embedded risk mitigations. Foster team ownership and commitment by outlining clear decision points and presenting data-driven recommendations.
Financial Management: Develop and manage project budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
Communication: Ensure clear, tailored communication for different stakeholders, from project team updates to senior leadership reviews. Manage phase and business reviews, meeting minutes, issue logs, key metrics, and other critical project communications.
Qualifications & Experience: Education: Level 8 Honors Bachelors degree in a technical discipline. Experience: 5+ years of project management experience in an Operations or New Product Development environment. Proven experience managing large-scale, complex projects across multiple functions Teams and/or multiple sites.
