Role
Summer Accommodation Manager – As a Summer Accommodation Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of a designated property.
You will lead on guest experience, team performance, and operational delivery, ensuring the building runs smoothly throughout the summer season.
This is a fast-paced, people-focused management role requiring strong leadership, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Service Standards: Set and maintain high standards of guest service across all departments.
Act as the senior point of contact for guest issues and escalations.
Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, schedule, and motivate seasonal staff.
Create a positive, professional, and high-performing team culture.
Operational Management: Oversee front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance operations.
Ensure daily operations run efficiently and consistently.
Reservations & Financial Control: Manage bookings and payment processes.
Ensure all reservations are prepaid, accurately recorded, and settled.
Budgeting & Cost Control: Monitor operational budgets and control costs.
Identify efficiencies while maintaining service quality.
Stock & Inventory Management: Manage ordering, storage, and distribution of operational supplies.
Building Setup & Close-Down: Coordinate pre-opening preparation and end-of-season breakdown.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and fire regulations.
Requirements
Proven experience in a hospitality or accommodation management role
Strong leadership and people-management skills
Confident decision-maker who leads by example
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
Strong communication skills with guests, staff, contractors, and senior stakeholders
Experience using booking systems and hospitality software
Legal right to work in Ireland (mandatory)
