We are seeking a Silicon HW Architect to be a part of the Platform System Resources team with focus on clock architecture and components.
As a technical leader, you will define clock requirements across different Automotive Microcontroller platforms, guide IP and SoC teams to define the necessary clock IP and architecture to ensure that customer requirements and KPIs are meet.
In your new role you will:
* Be responsible for the definition of architectural Clock component requirements and platform specification for each architectural component
* Break down stakeholder requirements and application assumptions into block-based requirements for architectural Clock components
* As part of the System Resources team, you will be responsible to provide a clock architecture that enables our products achieve customer defined power targets
* Proactively drives innovation (according to strategy) in CLOCK components, leveraging industry and market insights to anticipate and respond to emerging trends, and ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
* Own and create technical documentation in order to provide the requested functional descriptions and documents
* Interface with Technical Marketing and Design teams to ensure seamless integration of platform architecture and component development, and to drive technical innovation and differentiation
* Assure quality and performance for architectural CLOCK components
You have a talent for identifying technical opportunities and possess a keen sense for innovative solutions in clock position. Your proactive approach and solution-oriented mindset allow you to tackle complex technical challenges, define requirements for architectural clock components, and guide IP and SoC teams. With exceptional communication skills, you establish lasting relationships and networks with colleagues and stakeholders, and maintain high-quality standards in your work, ensuring technical solutions meet the needs of the business
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field
* At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role within the semiconductor or automotive industry
* Strong knowledge of microcontroller architecture and analog mixed-signal design
* Proven experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation
* Familiarity with functional safety standards and their application
* Proven ability to work effectively in multicultural environments
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
* Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken
