Person Specification
* Ability to lead and support teams, maintaining a person-centered approach that promotes self-determination and self-direction.
* Lead and inspire teams to deliver exceptional care within residential services.
* Foster an inclusive culture where individuals feel empowered and valued.
* Engage with the community and lead initiatives to enhance the experiences of those supported.
* Manage resources efficiently to ensure satisfaction and operational excellence.
* Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and stakeholders.
* Work independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Maintain accurate records demonstrating high standards of care.
* Demonstrate interpersonal, planning, data management, IT, and organizational skills.
* Possess a robust understanding of HIQA standards and statutory responsibilities as a Person In Charge.
* Manage competing priorities effectively.
* Hold a valid driving license for manual vehicles in Ireland.
Candidate Requirements
* Relevant qualification (e.g., Nursing, Social Care). Social Care candidates must be registered or in the process of registration with CORU.
* At least 3 years of supervisory/managerial experience in intellectual disability services.
* Completed a Management Course.
* Participation in the regional On-call roster.
* Suitability as outlined above.
Note: The role requires travel between locations. The position will be remunerated according to qualifications.
