Role Summary


About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to lead our product development initiatives. As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing advanced products.

As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deliver products that make an impact on people's lives.

You will be responsible for identifying and understanding market needs and translating them into the delivery of a differentiated product to market.

Key Responsibilities Include:

* Developing and executing the product strategy with the CTO, owning the product roadmap, and driving strategy, tactics, and execution for the product development
* Gaining a deep understanding of customer experience, identifying and filling product gaps, and generating new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience, and drive revenue growth
* Creating buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
* Representing the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on the product
* Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge base of the marketplace; working with Sales and Marketing to maintain market and competitor research and recommend action accordingly
* Driving product launches, including working with Marketing and the Executive team
* Developing product pricing and positioning strategies
* Translating product strategy into detailed requirements
* Scoping and prioritizing activities based on increasing business value and customer ROI
* Working closely with the Design & Development team to deliver products and solutions with high-quality and quick time-to-market resources
* Delivering internal monthly product updates on all aspects of the selected portfolio
* Presenting product plans across the organization
* Evaluating promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
* Delivering customer documentation for the portfolio, including but not limited to functional specifications, customer-facing documentation, sales collateral, and product update news
* Working with commercial associates and sales leaders to develop and execute targeted campaigns
* Understanding the product thoroughly and acting as the SME to pre-sales, sales, and engineering resources across the organization
* Developing GTM plans and pricing & deployment models for direct customers, contract manufacturers, systems integrators, line builders, and OEMs


Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

* Graduate-level education or equivalent in a business or technology-related field
* Minimum of five years of commercial experience, including two years where responsibility was held for managing product life cycles and the implementation of new products within a technical environment or similar
* Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
* Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
* Good understanding of Agile software development methodologies
* Previous experience of commercial negotiation
* Good understanding of business applications such as CRM and ERP
* Good knowledge of Internet technologies and proven ability to understand and communicate technical functionality
* Demonstrably good commercial acumen and high level of numeracy
* Enthusiasm and ability to work with minimum supervision in an environment with tight deadlines
* Organizational skills, demonstrating the ability to establish plans of action to effectively ensure achievement of results
* Able to influence and drive teamwork to meet key milestones and overcome challenges
* Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal) and ability to work collaboratively with multiple disciplines, including in-house Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Product Development, Sales, Marketing, partners, and 3rd-party contractors
* Ability to effectively use AI tools for market research, competitive analysis, and other areas for increased productivity and quality


Additional Preferences

Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience of working for a company delivering high-value technical solutions to the life sciences industries, as well as those with a good understanding of GMP, Computer System Validation, and regulations applicable to life sciences industries, including 21 CFR Part 11. Experience managing products with an AI component is also desirable.
