Role Title: Electrician - Subcontractor
Role Purpose:
Your focus will be on Smart Meters & EV Charger installations. This is a subcontracting position that offers security, highly competitive rates, and an opportunity to partner with a progressive and dynamic company involved in an exciting and expanding project.
Principal Responsibilities:
1. Installation of Smart Meters & Electric Vehicle charger installations
2. Upload all details of same on handheld mobile field technology device on completion
3. Addressing customer queries and explaining system procedures to customers
4. Maintain the highest performance levels according to industry best practice and governing regulations
5. Report all escalations directly
6. Read blueprints or technical diagrams
7. Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, identifying electrical problems with a variety of testing devices
8. Perform general electrical maintenance
9. Adhere to and maintain compliance with all Health and Safety procedures within your work
Requirements:
1. Fully qualified Electrician
2. Valid Verification & Certification qualification (QC number)
3. Valid Safe Pass is an advantage
4. 3+ years of domestic experience
