The role of a Management Accountant is a vital position within an organization, requiring strong analytical skills and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial data for the business.
* Reporting to an experienced Financial Controller who will provide guidance and support.
* Preparation of weekly KPI reports and monthly flash P&L reports.
* Preparation of quarterly management accounts, including budget variance reports.
* Balance sheet reconciliation and analysis.
* Overseeing the filing of statutory returns and maintaining compliance with relevant requirements.
* Carrying out month-end processes on stock/accounts systems.
* Bank reconciliations.
* Weekly aged debtors reports and monthly debtors reconciliations for external stakeholders.
* Maintenance of fixed asset registers.
* Monitoring branch costs and providing data for management meetings and sales/operations managers.
* Preparation of final accounts and files for year-end audit.
* Liaising with company auditors prior to and during the year-end audit.
Requirements:
* Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, Chartered, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or Qualified by Experience.
* Proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel.
* Organized, self-motivated, and ambitious with the ability to work to deadlines.
* Good work ethic.
