Description of the role:
The Clinical Nurse Manager will play a vital role in leading and delivering exceptional patient care within the surgical environment. Your expertise will ensure that every patient receives safe, efficient, and high-quality care during surgical procedures. You will also be instrumental in supporting and developing the nursing team to maintain the highest professional standards.
Requirements:
·Registered in the relevant division of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland [NMBI]
·Must have 3 years post registration experience in an acute hospital setting, in the last 5 years.
·With at least one of those years being within the specialty or related area.
·Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity. To lead, manage and motivate the nursing team, delegating responsibility
·Be responsible for the co-ordination, assessment, planning, implementation, and review of care for patients according to BSHS standards
Desirable
·Experience with an Electronic Health Record
·Preceptorship experience
·Postgraduate course or relevant educational course
·Management Qualification
Salary:
€56,081 - 66,045 (dependent on years’ experience)
