We are hiring a confident and well-organised Reception Supervisor for our client a luxury 4-star hotel based in County Meath.
This position is ideal for someone with previous hotel front desk experience who is ready to take a step up into a supervisory role.
As Reception Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day front office operations, supporting the reception team, and delivering an exceptional guest welcome and check-in experience.
Key Responsibilities Supervise and support the front desk team to ensure consistent service standards.
Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and special requests efficiently.
Resolve guest complaints or issues calmly and professionally.
Train and mentor junior front office staff and monitor their performance.
Ensure proper cash handling, billing, and use of the property management system (PMS).
Communicate effectively with housekeeping, reservations, and other departments to ensure a smooth flow of information.
Assist the Front Office Manager in compiling reports and shift scheduling as needed.
Candidate Requirements Minimum 12 years experience in a hotel reception or front office role (supervisory experience preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
Friendly, approachable, and guest-focused attitude.
Experience with hotel PMS (e.g.
OPERA, HotSoft, or similar) is an advantage.
Ability to work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
