Job Title: Finance Assistant
Location: Sligo
Salary: £38,000
Key Responsibilities
* Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
* Prepare and process month-end payment runs and bank reconciliations
* Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and general ledger adjustments
* Maintain vendor accounts and assist with UK & ROI VAT submissions
* Handle staff expenses, cash flow monitoring, and bank lodgements
* Manage company fleet administration including tax and insurance
* Assist with financial reporting, statement preparation, and other ad hoc projects
* Support the finance team with daily operations and general financial admin
About You
* Accounting Technician qualified, part-qualified, or currently studying a finance qualification
* Previous experience in a finance or accounts role is preferred
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with SAP, Sage, and Timeware an advantage (training provided)
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
* Confident communicator, able to work across teams and with external stakeholders
* Team player with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
