We in the SAP Technology team within Apple are responsible for leading a large set of SAP systems, one of the biggest and busiest in the world. These systems support critical business functions within Apple. We are the technical owner of SAP landscapes. We are primarily responsible for system scalability, availability, performance, Infrastructure security and Software life cycle management. The SAP Data Archiving team offers a large suite of stimulating technical challenges and a mix of technologies to support SAP Data Volume management, Nearline Indexing for real-time retrieval of historical data, and Business Document Storage & Retention. DescriptionThe SAP Data Archiving team is responsible for the implementation of SAP Data Archiving and Document Management Functionality. Your goal will be to control the database growth across various SAP Systems while ensuring access to critical business documents and compliance with a wide range of regulations.As the Data Archiving Analyst, you will play a significant role in implementing processes and procedures that will ensure a common approach to Apple's SAP Information Lifecycle process across all SAP Projects / Initiatives. Your responsibilities include working with various groups to define scope and capture business requirements. Provide conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs and performing necessary SAP configurations. Write detail specifications for development of custom programs, testing and implementation of automated solutions. Assist in the deployment of solutions for purging, anonymizing or pseudonymizing data to support compliance initiatives such as PII, PCI & GDPR.
