This role is suited to an individual who is a qualified accountant, enjoys a fast-paced environment, is comfortable in building and managing relationships at senior/executive level and has an interest in how IT transformation will shape the future of the business. What you`ll be doing: Leading and developing a small team of finance professionals (3 including this role) Sitting as a member of the IT Leadership Team Business partnering to the Chief Technology Officer and the senior IT leadership team across the Group Working with the wider business, including Retail, Wholesale and Supply Chain, provide decision support and investment analysis in respect of IT transformation projects across the Group Support the Transformation Office in the assessment of project related benefits and post investment reviews Lead the Forecast, Budget and 3-year plan process for IT opex and capex spend Oversee the management of monthly, quarterly and year end cost reporting for the IT function versus budget - delivering analysis, insight, and decision support to the business Identifying process improvement opportunities across all areas of IT Finance including reporting and cost allocation methodologies. Where applicable, identify where these opportunities may extend to other areas of Finance Ensuring adherence to internal and external financial governance and risk management on behalf of finance for IT, including appropriate cost capitalisation in line with accounting standards Provide ad hoc decision support to the Chief Technology Officer and Finance Director as required Support the senior finance team to deliver the One Finance and transformation strategy.
