P & D Hyland Farms Limited is looking for a skilled and motivated Dairy Farm Assistant to join our team on a 500-cow herd farm in Ballocola, Portlaoise, Co. Laois. As an addition to our dedicated team, you will be involved in: 1. Milking cows and herd management 2. Assisting with calving 3. Calf-rearing and young stock management 4. General farm duties to support day-to-day operations 5. Pasture and grazing management Relevant experience in dairy farming and herd management is essential; the ability to operate and maintain machinery and farm equipment; the ability to work with a team; good communication skills; and willingness to follow all health and safety guidelines on the farm and keep the workplace tidy.
