Job Description:
Electrical project coordinators are responsible for estimating electrical costs and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate estimates. They work closely with engineering, procurement, and operational teams.
Key responsibilities include attending project kick-off meetings, conducting site visits, and generating enquiry schedules for scope of works and packages required from tender documentation.
Electrical project coordinators evaluate returned quotations from suppliers, engage in correspondence with suppliers as necessary, and prepare bill of quantities (BOQs) for scopes of projects using estimating software like Excel or Causeway.
They also contribute to project risk registers, attend project risk meetings, and participate in tender price settlement discussions.
Additionally, they assist the Estimating Manager in fostering collaboration with functional leaders and make tender amendments where applicable.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Electrical project coordinators require a relevant third-level degree and/or trade background, along with a minimum of five years' experience in an electrical contracting environment.
