An opportunity has arisen within a well-established North Dublin accounting practice for an experienced accountant to step into a non-audit, team leader role.
This position offers the chance to take ownership of a client portfolio while leading and developing a growing team.
Your Responsibilities
Lead and manage a small team on the non-audit side of the practice, providing guidance, review and support
Review and oversee the preparation of financial statements for Limited companies and sole traders
Preparation and review of management accounts and reporting for a portfolio of key clients
Manage client relationships, acting as a primary point of contact and ensuring a high level of service delivery
Review and sign off on Corporate and Personal tax returns prepared by the team
Oversee compliance deadlines and workflow planning across the team
Provide technical support and mentoring to junior and part qualified staff
Liaise with Partners on client matters, resourcing and capacity planning
Involvement in process improvement and standardisation across the non-audit function
Your Requirements
Qualified ACCA or ACA
3 plus years post qualified experience within an accounting practice
Strong background in non audit work including accounts preparation, management accounts and tax compliance
Previous experience supervising or mentoring staff, or operating at a senior accountant level with leadership responsibilities
Strong technical knowledge of current accounting standards and tax requirements
Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a high level of attention to detail
Confident communicator with strong client facing experience
Experience with Surf Accounts Production and Xero is a strong advantage
Fluent written and spoken English
