Job Description
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the United Hardware team in a full-time permanent Credit Control Query Administrator role. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Credit Control team by ensuring that all member-supplier queries are recorded, tracked, and resolved promptly. The role will be responsible for maintaining an accurate log of all queries, coordinating with suppliers, members and internal teams to resolve them, and ensuring an efficient and effective handling of all queries, contributing to data accuracy, process improvement, and ultimately, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Reporting To: Credit Control Team Leader
Salary: 30K per annum basic plus benefits
Responsibilities
* Handling queries: Record all incoming queries from members and suppliers. Respond to and follow up queries by phone or email. Liaise with suppliers to ensure outstanding queries are resolved, escalating if deadlines are missed. Notify AP promptly when payment blocks are required and follow up to ensure timely unblocking once resolved.
* Data Analysis: Maintain a clear audit trail for all queries, including dates, actions taken, and final outcomes. Monitor, record and analyse queries/claims data to identify patterns, trends, or potential issues related to data quality, processes or system performance
* Documentation: Produce regular reports on open, resolved, and overdue queries for the Credit Control Manager. Suggest process enhancements to improve tracking, turnaround time, and communication flow.
* Quality Assurance: Contribute to maintaining data accuracy by verifying information, identifying errors, and suggesting improvements to the process
* Collaboration: Work closely with the Credit Control team, AP, and buying teams to ensure alignment.
* Customer service: Provide clear, timely updates to members and suppliers on query status.
Qualifications & Experience
* Ideal for a recent graduate, or someone looking to start a career in finance or accounts
* Previous office, admin, or customer service experience is an advantage but not essential
* Full training will be provided
